Used Exercise Equipment: Where to Find It

The main places you should look for used exercise equipment are eBay, your local newspapers, online merchants who specialize in--or have a section devoted to--used exercise equipment, or web sites that host classified sections. Craigslist is a good example. They allow people to post (under the sporting section) exercise equipment they want to get rid of. You can also post "wanted" messages saying how much you're willing to pay and what items you are looking for. Craigslist isn't available in every city yet, but many of the major metropolitan areas are supported.
