Bowflex Power Pro after 3 Months

3 months, and I'm still going strong. I've had no problems with any of the parts on my Bowflex. If you have been reading this review through from the first page (my how ambitious of you), you'll know that my original goal was to strengthen my back to fight back pain caused by sitting long hours at a computer. Thanks to improved work habits (I'm trying to remember to take frequent breaks and maintain good posture) and regular Bowflex workouts, it is now rare for my back to trouble me.

Though weight loss was not my goal when I started (I did not change my diet, or lack thereof), I have lost 7 lbs. and increased muscle definition. In the beginning, I was worried that the power rods weren't working as well as lifting weights, but I am getting good results. A large part of this is doubtlessly due to the fact that I am able to stick to my Bowflex program, whereas when I had a gym membership, I had a harder time getting around to going consistently. Since I set up the Bowflex in my home office (the room I use many hours a day), it is easy to remember to workout.

Overall, I am happy with my purchase, and unlike other products I have seen advertised through infomercials, Bowflex is a solid investment. I do think they are a little pricey to buy new, but it is a sturdy machine that holds up over time.
