Location, Location, Location!

Location matters more than you would think when deciding where to put your Bowflex. Even if you plan on folding your Bowflex up when it's not in use, you need a space of about 6 ft. x 6 ft. in order to workout. If you live in an apartment, there may only be one or two places where it will fit.

I had a number of places to choose from, and my first thought was to put my Bowflex someone out of the way, where it wouldn't be tripped over and it wouldn't detract from my handsome decor (OK, I bought my furniture at Fred Meyer's, but don't tell anyone).

The problem with this line of thinking is that the old axiom remains true: Out of sight, out of mind.

If you are a dedicated fitness stud, this may not matter. But for me, I need that little reminder. I decided to set up the Bowflex in my computer room/home-office. Being the geek that I am, this is the room in which I spend the most waking hours.

I haven't regretted my decision, because every time turn my head, there it is. The Bowflex Power Pro, ready for a workout. I've had good success sticking to my program.

By now, you're probably antsy to read about whether or not the Power Pro held up to my expectations and whether I recommend plunking down the money to buy one.
