Baby Jogger Review
The Baby Jogger Twinner is light but sturdy and surprisingly maneuverable (I figured something that could hold two kids would be clunky, but that's not the case). I've been using the Baby Jogger for about nine months now, 4-5 times a week, and it's really held up well. I've even used it on roads made slushy and slick with snow. The five-point harness makes securing your young-uns quick and easy. The five points cover the shoulders, waist, and crotch. (I noticed some of the cheaper jogging strollers out there only have three-point harnesses). If you get the harness too tight or it becomes twisted, the kids will be sure to let you know (it can cause some discomfort), but overall they seem quite content on the rides. The front and rear brakes, accessible by an easy to reach hand brake, make your trip safe. The Twinner came with 16 inch wheels, which seems just right. The stroller is good at handling corners or going up and down curbs. According to the specs, the Baby Jogger can handle weights up to 150 pounds, so you feel it's a good investment, because they won't grow out of it too quickly. The Baby Jogger is relatively easy to fold up and put in your car. It weighs just over 20 pounds. It comes with little mesh baskets behind the seats that are convenient for storing books, water bottles, or snacks in. You do have to take apart the little baskets when folding up the Jogger to be placed in the car, however. Taking off the wheels and what not takes a bit of time. However, I feel the cons definitely outweigh the pros. Tip: if you're a hard-core walker/jogger, opt for the rain cover and adjustable sun canopy. Overall, the Baby Jogger Twinner II Stroller has been a wonderful purchase, and I would definitely recommend either it or another from the Baby Jogger line.
